Hi. I’m Julie, an independent learning engineer and instructional designer focused on creating stellar, effective learning experiences meeting clients’ goals while understanding diverse learners’ needs.
I started my career in early childhood education in the early 1990s, where I discovered my passion for creating outstanding learning experiences for students. I gravitated toward training and development, assuming various roles that allowed me to mentor others in creating positive and effective learning experiences. I moved into higher education, where I spent 15+ years in leadership in online education. With a “why not” attitude, I push outside the box to find innovative solutions to advance the landscape of online learning experiences.
As an expert in education and with extensive online experience, I merge design theories with leadership skills to create training and education programs. Let’s find ways we can collaborate as we move training and development to the next level.
